Before she was a comic, Kiki Andersen was an Emmy award-winning news reporter under her real name, Kelly Andersen, but after enough people confused her for Kellyanne Conway on Twitter (yes, really) she decided to change her name, her career and do something way less depressing.
Now she uses everything she learned about how the world works to make people laugh.
Since moving west, she has rapidly moved up the comedy ladder, performing regularly at the Laugh Factory and The Improv circuit. She has opened for some of comedy’s best including Harland Williams, Nate Jackson, Jay Jurden, Sahib Singh and others. Her podcast, Indecent with Kiki Andersen, garnered a loyal following during its two seasons, and featured guests such as Margaret Cho and Dan Savage.
She has been at a featured comic at festivals including Netflix is a Joke and Flyover Comedy Festival. In 2026, she appeared on Comics Unleashed on CBS.
Equal parts intellectual and unhinged, Kiki's humor lives somewhere between social satire, existential dread, and the uncomfortable realization that she might be part of the problem.
She has the instincts of a cynical journalist and the insufferable optimism of a Pisces. Unfortunately, both are incurable.
